Only families who've stayed with us in 2025 can submit their own referral. 
If you haven't stayed with us in 2025, please talk to your medical provider or social worker about a referral.

Due to increased volume, we are once again requiring that referrals for patients with preplanned, non-urgent treatment be submitted a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the requested stay. 

To be eligible to stay at the Idaho Ronald McDonald House, families must meet the following criteria:

• Be a parent or legal guardian who has a child 18 years of age or younger receiving treatment at a Boise medical facility.
• Reside outside of Ada County, Idaho.
• Have a social worker or physician start the referral process to stay (for their first stay of the calendar year).

Each question should be answered by the family directly. Spouses may answer screening questions on each other's behalf, but all other additional adults will need to be present to answer questions. Any adults that are not present during the initial referral must call RMHC Idaho at their earliest convenience to be added to the stay request.

Please remember that the submission of this online request form is not a room reservation. 

One of the parents/guardians included in this form submission must call the House 24 hours prior to the requested arrival date and speak with a Family Services staff (208-336-5478).  During this 24-hour confirmation call, a Family Services staff person will advise if there is a room available.  If a room is not available on your requested arrival date, Family Services staff will continue to move your request forward until a room is available for you. 

Please provide the Family Services staff person you speak with your approximate arrival time if/when you are advised that there is room available for your stay.  Also, please provide Family Services staff with information regarding any changes to other family members who may be joining you during your stay.  Please keep in mind that any guests of adult age will be required to complete the Qualifying Criteria questions and a check of the National Sex Offender Registry will be completed prior to their being allowed to remain on RMHC property.
